Understanding and Using ACT Data

LP-banner-icons

Join Dean Simon for a free, in-person workshop designed to help Wisconsin educators better understand, analyze, and use ACT data to support student learning and success.

Held annually, these interactive sessions guide schools through how to access and interpret data from the ACT and PreACT Secure assessments.  For schools that administer the PreACT, the workshop offers additional insight into how early data can reveal student strengths, areas for growth, and instructional opportunities — long before students reach graduation.

What You’ll Gain

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with:

  • A better understanding of the purpose and design of ACT assessments.
  • Practical knowledge of how to access, analyze, and interpret ACT data.
  • Strategies for incorporating the same skills and knowledge measured by the ACT into the everyday classroom without sacrificing valuable time for test prep.

 Who Should Attend

This workshop is ideal for:

  • New district assessment coordinators
  • Principals and assistant principals
  • Department chairs and instructional leaders

Educators who want to ensure students are developing meaningful, transferable skills that prepare them for college, career, and life — no matter which path they choose — will find this session especially valuable.
